Embark on a journey through our company’s timeline

2008

McCarthy Keville O’Sullivan Ltd formed through the merger of AP McCarthy Planning Consultants Ltd, and Keville and O’Sullivan Associates Ltd with 28 people.

2013

Re-organisation of company into three defined teams: Planning, Environmental and Ecology.

2016

Established a dedicated Ornithology Team.

2017

Introduced Estates and Project Management service offering.

2018

Launch of new MKO brand to replace McCarthy Keville O’Sullivan.

2019

New MKO Galway office (Ireland) opened with 50+ people.

2020

100+ team members.

2022

Dublin office opened.

2023

Appointment of four new Directors. 200+ team members.

2023

Introduced Health and Safety and Acoustics service offerings.

2024

Acquisition of CDM Smith Ireland Ltd. to launch a dedicated water service.
